The Guthrie Center Association of Churches works together for the betterment of the community. We help to provide emergency assistance with rent, utilities, and food. We perform community services throughout the year such as Advent lunches, Holy Week Services, Teacher Appreciation lunches, Vacation Bible School for kids, a live nativity, and an annual Christmas concert.
Emergency Assistance
Guthrie Center Association of Churches participating churches consist of First Christian, First Presbyterian, First United Methodist Church, Bowman Chapel , 7th Day Adventist Church, St Mary's Catholic Church, and Immanuel Lutheran Church.
We have a food pantry, and provide rent and utility assistance for families in need in the Guthrie Center area. We also host nondenominational services related to community events.
